About Nora Veterinary Hospital
Pets Make Us Happy - We Keep Them Healthy
For over 30 years, Nora Veterinary Hospital has served the pets – and their people – of greater Indianapolis. Our owner, Dr. Brennen Flory, brings a fresh, innovative, positive approach to proactive patient care, meaning he wants to help your pets maintain optimal health. It is our intention to always provide you with a warm and welcoming experience where you feel empowered to make the best decisions for your animal family members. We love what we do and hope that we earn your trust. We want you and your pets to think of us as knowledgeable, caring – and yes, fun-loving! – members of your extended family.
Nora Veterinary Hospital’s History
Started by Dr. Ed Cummins over three decades ago, the Nora Veterinary Hospital became an integral part of the local neighborhood. In 2013, Dr. Jaclyn Martin took over as owner and continued to grow the practice. Sadly, Dr. Martin passed away in 2019, but her wish to pass the practice to a like-minded owner was fulfilled when Dr. Brennan Flory came on board.
Hailing from a small town in Northwest Ohio, Dr. Flory was attracted to the deep roots and authentic connections with clients that he experienced as an associate at the practice prior to assuming ownership.
When he realized that multi-generational families continue to entrust their pets to Nora after many years, he felt confident that this was a place he could feel at home and genuinely contribute to the community. Relationships are an important element of veterinary medicine, and Dr. Flory could tell the people were cared for as much as the pets.
Running the practice is his way of honoring Nora’s history and carrying its legacy into an even brighter future.
